Grimshaw Public School student Ciara Kamphuis was recognized by the Peace River School Division Board of Trustees on September 18 for her outstanding academic performance.
Kamphuis, a Grade 10 student, achieved a perfect score of 100% on both the Part A and Part B of her Grade 9 Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) in math during the 2024-2025 school year.
A lifelong resident of Grimshaw, Kamphuis shared that her favourite subjects are math and science. When she’s not excelling in academics, she enjoys spending time outdoors, with hobbies like paddleboarding, biking and camping. As the youngest of four siblings, Ciara also confirmed she’s the first in her family to earn a perfect PAT score.
The Peace River School Division extends its congratulations to Ciara on this tremendous achievement.
Her success is a testament to her commitment to learning and a source of inspiration for her peers.
