Whitelaw Centennial Celebration | Whitelaw, AB

Whitelaw’s upcoming Centennial Celebration isn’t just an event—it’s a tribute to the resilience, spirit and progress of a remarkable community.
Over the past 100 years, Whitelaw has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving, close-knit community with a deep appreciation for its history.
This milestone recognizes the dedication of generations who have built, sustained and cherished Whitelaw, making it the vibrant community it is today.
Taking place August 15 to 17, the community-driven event will feature fun for all ages, including lively parades, historical exhibits and high-energy performances from local and regional artists.

Families can enjoy a mix of traditional games and modern activities, while the evenings bring everyone together for wine and cheese, a community dinner, a banquet and dancing to a great country band from the region.
The weekend wraps up with a delicious Sunday morning pancake breakfast.
The celebration would not be possible without the incredible support of local businesses, regional vendors and artisans, talented performers and dedicated community organizations and volunteers.

From generous sponsorships and unique market displays to live entertainment and behind-the-scenes help, each group plays a vital role in making the event a success.
The centennial event aims to be more than just a reflection of the past. Organizers view it as a stepping stone to the future and a celebration of the strength and unity that defines Whitelaw.
A 100-year journey deserves to be celebrated—don’t miss your chance to be a part of history!
