On November 19, Tyler Smith, Humboldt Broncos bus crash survivor and Amazing Race Canada winner, is coming to the Mile Zero Theatre in Grimshaw to share his story and speak on mental health, wellness and safe spaces.
This event is presented by the Town of Grimshaw Community Services Department and the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention – North Peace.
Smith co-hosts a podcast, Speak Your Mind, with NHL veteran Riley Sheahan of the Buffalo Sabres and is the founder of the “Not Alone Co.” clothing company, which aims to spark conversation about mental health.
Admission is open to everyone interested, and food bank donations will be collected in support of the Grimshaw/Berwyn Ecumenical Care Society (Food Bank).
