Saddle Hills County Bursary Program Accepting Applicants

The Saddle Hills County (SHC) Bursary Program is now accepting applicants looking to enter or advance their education. The program is open to students pursuing post-secondary education, trades or commercial driver training school.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be a resident of SHC for a minimum of one year and have a minimum of one year’s residency in Alberta prior to the application date

• Be enrolled in a recognized program

• Be committed to living and working in Northern Alberta post-graduation

• Have reasonably good prospects for employment in Northern Alberta post-graduation

• Complete the bursary application process

Applicants will be expected to submit the following:

• A paragraph of at least 200 words detailing your chosen field of study

• Two letters of reference

The Agricultural Service Board has also instated the Veterinary Education Bursary to help provide improved veterinary services to residents of Saddle Hills County. The deadline for this bursary is July 15. For more information visit bit.ly/SHCVetBursary
