A highlight of the summer since 2009, Paddle the Peace is back offering a relaxing community paddle with lunch and entertainment.
Join the County of Northern Lights, Town of Peace River, MD of Peace and Northern Sunrise County on the river. Enjoy a leisurely paddle from either Shaftesbury Ferry or Strong Creek to the Lower West Boat Launch in Peace River with a complimentary meal and entertainment at Strong Creek.
This year’s event will run from 8:30am to 3pm and will cost $25 for participants going from Shaftesbury Ferry to Lower West Peace or $20 for participants going from Strong Creek to Lower West Peace. Children ages 12 and under are free.
Registration opens on June 1.
