NSC Seeking Passport to Culture Participants

Do you have a culture, heritage or tradition you’d love to share with our community?

Northern Sunrise County (NSC), in partnership with the Town of Peace River, is excited to introduce Passport to Culture—a new community celebration taking place on Tuesday, September 1 at Cecil Thompson Park.

NSC is looking for individuals, families, community groups and organizations that would like to host a cultural booth and showcase their heritage through traditional food, music, dance, storytelling, clothing, crafts, language, games or cultural displays.

Visitors will “travel” from booth to booth with their Passport to Culture, learning about different cultures and collecting stamps along the way. The event will also feature live cultural performances on the main stage throughout the evening.
