Craving a weekend of camping and floating on your trusty inflatable? Want to feast on delicious BBQ and play a cornhole tournament while the kids enjoy jumping and playing in a bouncy house? How about enjoying some great tunes in front of a live band? Well then, it’s road trip time—you’ve gotta go to Zama Float Fest.

“This is just our second year, but the first one has been keeping people talking all winter. We all can’t wait for Float Fest 2025,” said Event Organizer Lisa Wardley. “The jumbo waterslide was a hit. There’s disc golf, free fire wood, a horseshoe tournament, and of course the local band Soul Smash will be back.”

Last year’s Float Fest was born from a simple idea to get people out and using the local campground.

“Zama City used to have big events like poker rallies, mud bogs and spring breakup parties, but it’s been a while since we hosted something like this,” said Wardley. “It takes a lot of volunteer hours, but it’s actually really fun.”
