Peace River named a Top Participant in Alberta Culture Days

In December, Alberta Culture Days recognized the Town of Peace River as one of the top five participants in the “Towns and Rural Areas” category, which honours communities with populations under 10,000.

In 2025, events were held at the Peace River Library, Peace River Brewing and the Peace River Art Hub including dance performances, live music, workshops, story times, cooking classes, painting classes and more.

An opportunity to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture through local events and activities, Alberta Culture Days are held September 1 to 30.

In 2025, over 700 events were held across the province showcasing the vibrant arts, culture and heritage of Alberta’s communities.
